It's summer. It's Colorado Springs where the average summer temperature is near 89 degrees and yet we were awoken by the banging sound of hail on the roof.
That was just the first of 3 times it hailed on is in one 24 hour period and the last was a real treat to watch-
Take a look at these hail balls- it hailed for nearly 45 minutes straight and chilled down the temp to about 54, brrr
Luckily, there was no damage!
